With an investment value of £5.5 billion the Peel Groups property development Liverpool Waters has received planning permission and has not been called in by central government.

Liverpool Waters is only one half of a larger development with the other being Wirral Waters which received planning permission in 2012. Combined they have a total investment value of £10 billion.

Rust Studios has worked closely with the Peel Group since the beginning of their largest ever development proposal in 2006 and is proud to have been part of it’s success so far.

Rust Studios would just like to congratulate the Peel Group on the success on receiving planning permission and would like to thank them for their continued partnership.

Curtis Ashworth Managing Director of Rust Studios said:

“Seeing Liverpool Waters grow from an idea into such an ambitious development proposal has been very exciting. It has taken six years and a lot of hard work but it has all been worth it. We look forward to seeing buildings rise from the derelict site and transform Liverpool into an even greater city.”
